These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Cheating or Not (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We may ask you to verify your age and may suspend or terminate accounts we believe belong to users under 18.
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that happens under it. Sign-in is provided through Apple or Google — you're also subject to their respective terms for those services.
Cheating or Not presents real-life relationship and social situations for entertainment purposes. Situations are judged by the community as "Cheating" or "Not," and results are shown as aggregate, anonymized statistics. Nothing in the App constitutes relationship, legal, or professional advice, and the outcome of any vote is not a factual or moral determination — it's a reflection of community opinion.
The App lets you submit your own situations via Spill the Tea 🍵. By submitting content, you:
Do not submit content that: identifies a real, specific individual in a way that could reasonably expose them to harassment; contains hate speech, harassment, or threats of violence; depicts self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders; describes illegal activity; contains sexually explicit material; or is spam or off-topic. We use automated review (including a third-party AI service) and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this policy.
If you see a situation that shouldn't be in the App, you can report it from within the App. We review reports and may remove content or take other action at our discretion. Repeated, substantiated reports against a single situation will automatically hide it pending review.
Squad Mode is a real-time, multiplayer feature where you play synchronized rounds with other users you invite via a room code. Other players in your Squad Mode session can see your individual answers for that session. Room and session data is temporary and is deleted automatically after the game ends or expires.
You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; harass, abuse, or harm other users; attempt to circumvent the age gate or moderation systems; reverse-engineer or interfere with the App's operation; use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App; or impersonate another person.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your own account at any time from Profile settings — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content (including community-voted outcomes) is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. The App is entertainment — do not rely on it for advice about your own relationships or situations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cheating or Not and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including damages related to user-submitted content or interactions with other users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
